Steve Russo is a best-selling author, internationally known evangelist, and the founder and president of the Steve Russo Evangelistic Team. He is the host of the syndicated radio program Real Answers that is heard on more than 600 stations daily. Steve is the featured speaker on the nationally syndicated music video TV show 24/SEVEN. For five years he was the co-host of “Life on the Edge Live!” - Focus on the Family’s teen talk radio show. Steve was a featured speaker with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and has been a speaker at “Starting Line” events for Prison Fellowship and Promise Keeper’s men’s conferences.

Before entering full-time ministry, Steve was a professional drummer involved in both gospel and secular music. After becoming a Christian and sensing his call to ministry, he served as a youth pastor and later as a Campus Life Area Director for Youth For Christ.

In 1984, with the encouragement of international evangelist Luis Palau, Steve lauched the ministry of Steve Russo Evangelistc Team. In 1992, he introduced the Real Answers evangelistic campaigns, targeting teenagers and families, and began hosting the Real Answers radio show.

Through his Real Answers campaigns and speaking engagements at rallies, conferences, prisons, churches and schools in the United States and around the world, Steve speaks to tens of thousands of people each year. He is dedicated to bringing young people and their families into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He wants people of all ages to have real answers to life’s difficult questions. For his campaigns, he often joings with such talented guests as: Audio Adrenaline, Paul Overstreet, Jaci Velasquez, Charlie Daniels, Pro Footbal Hall of Famer Steve Largent, Meadowlark Lemon, Third Day, Kirk Franklin and Tobymac.

He has been featured on ABC, CBS and NBC news broadcasts, as well as “The O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel.

Steve earned a B.S. from Biola University, an M.A. from Talbot School of Theology and is a graduate of the Arrow Leadership Program. Steve lives in Southern California.
